Exporting content after editing
Learn how to export your content efficiently once you're done editing. This tutorial shows when and how to use the export features, giving context to help you choose the best option for your workflow.
You can choose among three methods:
- Method 1: Simply copy the content from the editor. This is ideal if you want to paste the content in a Google Docs or in Microsoft Word
- Method 2: Export the content in HTML
- Method 3: Export the content in Markdown
Method 1: Copy the content
Step 1: Select all the content you want to export.
Step 2: Right click and select Copy to save the content in the clipboard or use the shortcut command + C to copy the content.
Step 3: Paste the copied content into another tool, like Google Docs.
Methods 2 & 3: Export the content
Step 1: If you need your content in a particular file format, click on Export. A list of upcoming integrations appears, letting you vote for which integration you want to come next.
Step 2: To download your content in a file, choose Download HTML or Download Markdown. This action generates a .txt file—ideal for sharing with developers or teammates or send the content in an email.
Step 3: Alternatively, click on Copy to Clipboard to instantly copy the HTML or the Markdown version of your content.
