This article will guide you through the process of creating your first blog post using AI.

Getting started

After completing your search analysis, click on the blog post card to access the blog editor. I invite you to read our create a blog post article to understand how to launch the search analysis.

Step 1: Click on the blog post card to access the Blym editor.

Step 2: Here, you have two options: start from scratch or start with AI. Starting from scratch is particularly useful if you want to paste existing content and update it using the editor. If you wish to write with the help of AI and get the most value from Blym, click on Start with AI.

Funnel - Step 1 - The content brief

The content brief is your foundation for AI-assisted writing. This crucial first step allows you to customize how the AI will create your content, ensuring it aligns with your brand and objectives.

Brand context

Default setting: Enabled

The brand context feature uses your saved brand content settings to ensure the AI writes in your authentic voice and style. This is one of Blym's core strengths - enabling AI to write as if you're personally crafting the content for your brand.

Brand: Your business identity
Voice: Your unique communication style
Tone: The emotional approach (casual, empathetic, etc.)

When to disable: Uncheck this option only if you want to create more neutral, generic content without your brand's personality.

Information for the AI (optional)

These optional fields allow you to provide specific guidance to enhance the AI's understanding of your content goals.

Content direction

Specify the angle or focus you want for this particular article. This helps the AI understand your target audience and approach.

Example: For a magnesium supplement article, you might direct the AI to focus on athletes and sports performance rather than general health benefits.

Outline structure

Provide any specific heading structure or organizational preferences you have in mind. This ensures the AI follows your preferred content flow.

Extra content options

Generate takeaways

Creates summary bullet points that appear at the top of your article, giving readers a quick overview of key points.

Generate FAQs

Adds a frequently asked questions section to address common reader inquiries related to your topic.

Once you're done, you can click on the "Generate Titles" button, and the AI will generate the first piece of content—the article title—which will lead you to the next step.

On the right side of the screen, you'll find the Search result insights sidebar. This provides an overview of what the AI detected in step one and can help you understand what Google is looking for in this specific topic.
